Have mercy. John Stamos has formally been charged with DUI stemming from his June arrest, Us Weekly can confirm.

The Full House actor, 52, faces one misdemeanor count and a possible six months in jail, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office told Us on Thursday, Oct. 15. Stamos' arraignment is scheduled at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.

As previously reported, the Grandfathered star was pulled over on June 12 while driving in Santa Monica, Calif. It was reported that he was taken to the hospital "due to a possible medical condition" at the time. The following month, he checked himself into rehab for substance abuse for 30 days.

"I've had a rough year with my mom dying, so it all came to a head, and it was a turning point," Stamos told Details magazine in September. (The star's mother, Loretta Phillips Stamos, died at age 75 in September 2014.)

"You either continue on that path — and some of it's fun, but a lot of it's not — or there's this other thing, this golden opportunity sitting there with all this work and all this goodwill that you have going for you," he added. "That's the key."
